- DENVER'S BROWN PALACE GETS A MAKEOVER. The Brown Palace Hotel & Spa is currently undergoing an 8 million renovation of its guestrooms. The Denver landmark is updating the soft goods in all 241 rooms, and outfitting 199 rooms with new bathrooms. The upgrades will be completed in May of this year.
